Thirty-Three!

This handsome, amazing fellow is now
THIRTY-THREE

Tyler had his birthday on Mother's Day this year.
He was so nice to share his day with me.
He may have been "jipped" a little,
but we tried to make him feel special.

happy birthday Tyler!
We love you!

Alexa is 6!

Our big girl Alexa is SIX!
I can't believe it!
It is so fun watching her grow-up,
and it is both exciting and sad to see how fast it really happens.

Happy Mother's Day!

Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day

With little time to stop and pray

For life's been anything but calm

Since You called on me to be a mom

Running errands, matching socks

Building dreams with building blocks

Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes

And other stuff that children lose

Fitting lids on bottled bugs

Wiping tears and giving hugs

So where's the quiet time I need?

Yet when I steal a minute, Lord

Just at the sink or ironing board

To ask the blessings of Your grace

I see then, in my small one's face

That you have blessed me

All the while

And I stop to kiss

That precious smile

Tyler and the girls made this cute sign for me on Mother's Day.
They made my day so special.
I feel like the luckiest person to have such an amazing husband and such darling daughters to live each day with.
