DISNEYLAND March 2012

We spent three fun-filled days at Disneyland while we visited California!

It was a blast!

First time seeing meeting the fairies and princesses...

Grandpa and Grandma Shelley and Aunt Ashley joined us one of the days!

The girls had fun going on rides with them and showing off their "bravery"

by going on some "scary" roller coasters :)

She was so proud of herself for going on it, way to go Lex!

She was able to go on it a few times, and the last time we went, she kept her hands in the air and screamed :)  ...she told me that she was yelling and making noise like I always do.

Another favorite ride was the Buzz Lightyear ride,

Grandpa's favorite as well!

California MARCH 2012

California was wonderful

(as always)

We spent our first day meeting up with Tyler's parents and sister

at a resort they were staying at near Newport Beach for work.

We enjoyed the pools the first half of the day,

and then shuttled over to Crystal Cove.

No, we learned later that we shouldn't have picked up the starfish

...but cool huh?

There was all sorts of Sea Life in the tide pools.

It was really neat to see.

We made our own "tide pool" with reclining seats

and a little "Karli Sea Creature" to look at

This was definitely the perfect day.

Perfect spots to enjoy,

Perfect weather, and

Perfect people to be with :)

We also had a chance to visit Grandpa Shelley at his work!

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for letting us come visit you! 

We had a great time!

Valentines Day 2012

Our family had a really great Valentines Day!

Alexa made this really cute box for school

(she was really excited that the teeth were wiggly just like hers were at the time)

We made valentines sugar cookies the night before

and "doorbell ditched" some people with them.

We made a yummy dinner and decorated the table all "fancy."

We enjoyed heart attacks and love notes and family time that day!

This wasn't exactly on Valentines Day,

but I thought is was so cute and thoughtful of Alexa.

Tyler and I found this on our bed in our room...

(she saved us TWO whoppers, one for each of us)  :)

This is just an example of the many notes and pictures we get from our girls.

They both LOVE to write and draw,

and LOVE to give them away to other people.

Sledding at Mutual Dell

We have had so much fun going sledding this year!

We have loved this winter and how there has been small amounts of snow

around our home, but you can still get a lot of it if you head up the canyon. 

It doesn't get much better than that!

We have gone to the same spot each time,

and have done pretty much the same thing each time :)

but have enjoyed a different crowd each time.

The first time was just our family,

then we went with Jeff's family,

and then we went with some friends (no pictures taken last time though)

Karli has really enjoyed herself this year too!

Tooth Out!

Alexa had been working on her two bottom wiggly teeth for weeks,

and today (a week ago Friday) I picked her up from school and she looked like this with a tooth necklace around her neck...

Hurray!  Her first tooth is out. 

She couldn't have been more proud and excited :)

She thought it was so funny that her other wiggly tooth has fallen over a bit,

so it looks like she has lost two teeth.

She put her sparkly tooth fairy box under her pillow that night,

and she really came! 

It was such an exciting moment for Alexa. 

Give her other wiggly tooth a day and it will be out for sure. 

Karli can't stop talking about how her teeth need to start wiggling :)
