September is here!

Rilee and I were enjoying the nice shade

while we watched these cuties playing in the water at our park...

This is Alexa's new friend Kendall!

but doesn't like to get her clothes wet if she can help it...

For Labor Day,

we went up to Logan to camp with Kyle and Kaitlyn!

It was a blast going down memory lane while in Logan.

Wow, that place is growing and changing!

We have such sweet memories up there.

We found a nice spot up Green Canyon.

Kaitlyn helped the girls find this

and then to the splash pad to wash off

a little of the grime we acquired while camping!

Alexa's First day of Kindergarten, Soccer, and Daddy Daughter Date

All the anticipation and excitement over the WHOLE SUMMER

has now come to an end...

Alexa <finally> started Kindergarten! :)

She has been SO EXCITED

...and probably would have skipped out on all the fun things we

did throughout the summer if she could have started school early...

She loves every minute of it, of course.

She loves her teacher Mrs. Williams so much!

I couldn't be sad that my oldest was starting school,

she was TOO happy about it!

I am excited for her!

She is a doll.

This morning she told me that she wished there was only

ONE DAY in the weekend, when Daddy doesn't have to go to work,

because then she could be at school more :)

(I hope that she keeps up this enthusiasm and love for school, it is so nice!)

It was SO FUN and relaxing...and perfect!

It was a hot day, so we couldn't stay out of the water for long...

Her chin hit hard and she bit deep into her tongue.

Yes, even worse than her stiches about a month ago.

It continues to heal really nicely.
